Tower Tavern

Sports bars may not seem like the best place to take kids, but on multiple occasions we have found local stalwart Tower Tavern at 31^st and Oak to be an excellent spot to take kids to.   

                Tower Tavern is one of the original Martini Corner restaurants which has proven its staying power over the long term. For most locals who live anywhere near Martini Corner know Tower Tavern is THE Neighborhood tavern that moonlights as a sports bar. They have great food at a reasonable price, excellent beer selection, yet nothing is too fussy or trying to be more than a neighborhood bar and grill type place. 

                We have on many occasions with Friends and Family showed up for pizzas, beers, wings with a number of Kids, who, if you sit in the backroom, have plenty of space to wander around and be kids. You are also far enough away from the more “bar” atmosphere so as not to interrupt the people who are having a more lively drink filled experience.   

                If you want a good kid friendly spot head up to Tower Tavern with the kids, order the charred wings, watch a game, then walk home.
