Prefix Coffee

The first of the coffee Shops we went to was the nearest to our house.  It doesn’t get a ton of Instagram love, but Prefix coffee at Oak and 31^st is a tucked away hidden gem that I hope more people start to frequent. 

We were already sufficiently caffeinated from the Nespresso’s we had with breakfast and had just gotten a new stroller as our Son has graduated from the Doona.  In order to test it out we decided to go on a small little walk around the neighborhood.  As we were walking by we decided to stop in against our better judgment and grab another coffee. 

It was the day before mother’s day and m wife grabbed a cappuccino and I tried a delicious new beverage (to me at least) called an espresso tonic.  Both were wonderful.  Our son was not yet walking, but would cruise around while holding onto things.  He had a blast “walking” between our chairs and looking at all the fund plants and colored carpets around.  We hung around for 10 minutes then loaded back up into the stroller and continued our walk around the neighborhood. 

All in all a very unexpected but nice way to spend the morning, that got us wondering where else might be fun to pop into.
